Becky Gochman
Trainers - Scott Stewart, Ken Berkley and Amanda Derbyshire


Becky started riding when she was eight years old and became a horse owner at age eleven. She competed in local New Jersey horse shows and was active in a 4-H club. Becky eventually started riding in rated shows and trained with Sandy Lobel. After pursuing a career in art education, Becky remained passionate about riding and became an Amateur Hunter rider. 
Becky's career highlights include the Grand Amateur-Owner Hunter Championship at Devon with Empire and Catch Me, Grand Champion at Capital Challenge with Sambalino and Catch Me, and Grand Champion with Last Call at the Washington International Horse Show. Becky has been champion at The National Horse Show with Catch Me. She was World Champion Hunter Rider (WCHR) Amateur-Owner Rider of the Year in 2015 and 2017. Becky has recently started showing in the adult jumpers. Becky and David enjoy watching their children and Amanda Derbyshire compete, and they take pride in the whole Baxter Hill team.


Sophie Gochman
Trainers - Scott Stewart, Ken Berkley and Amanda Derbyshire


Sophie lives in New York City, but is currently attending Harvard University. She has been riding since she was eighteen months old. She can't imagine a life without horses. At age seven she started showing small ponies. Currently, Sophie has been competitive in national and international shows, with a win in the 2* Grand Prix at the Miami Longines Global Champions Tour, a 2* GP win at Fontainebleau, individual gold medal at Prix de States, and top placings in numerous Grand Prix.
Sophie shows successfully in the Amateur Owner hunters and jumpers. Sophie is thankful for the support of her parents and the Baxter Hill team. She looks forward to competing at a higher level in the coming years.


Mimi Gochman
Trainers - Darragh Kenny and Amanda Derbyshire


Mimi lives in New York City and is attending Brown University in the fall of 2023. She sat on her first pony, Lacy, when she was eighteen months old.  At age six, Mimi started showing in the Small Pony Hunter division. Mimi has been Champion at many of the country's top shows, including, the Capital Challenge, the Pennsylvania National, the Washington International and the Devon Horse Show. Mimi's most memorable moments include representing Team USA three times including at WEF on the Nations Cup Team, Placing 3rd in the Sapphire Grand Prix at Devon 2022, winning the 2* Grand Prix in Monterrey in 2022, and many other top placings in the U25 and national grand prix classes. Currently, Mimi is showing in the Amateur Jumpers and Amateur Owner Hunters as well in FEI Grand Prixs and the U25 Division. Mimi is thankful to her parents, team Baxter Hill, Rivers Edge, and Beacon Hill for all of their support and guidance throughout her whole riding career. Mimi is looking forward to continuing to represent Team USA in the future and becoming more consistent in the Grand Prix ring.
